We don't have a set day, we go when we need stuff..
But I will say the BEST time to go is Friday night - it's empty (usually).

It seems like every day! I make lists of what's on sale at each store each week, and I try to hit one of two of the stores on my way home from work on various days. I often have to stop to pick up ingredients once I figure out what I'm cooking for dinner that night. Also, there's usually a stop at Trader Joe's every other week for certain things.
