What day of the week do you go grocery shopping?
Us- usually Sunday, unless we are going away for the weekend. Then we do Friday.

Either Saturday or Sunday depending on what else is going on. Except in the summer, then I can go during the week and free up the weekend.

Yeah, it sort of cuts into the weekend, and I'm wondering what day everyone else shops since I'm thinking of changing my schedule around.
Although it is useful to shop Sunday because then I can slow cook for the week and it makes weekday dinners easier. But I hate shopping on the weekend!

I try to go on Fridays, because that's when the sales usually start, but it doesn't always work out that way.

Tuesdays. It's my favorite day to food shop because there's no one in the stores, and the shelves are restocked from the weekend. I like to take my time food shopping, reading the labels, etc. Everyone thinks I'm nuts because I find food shopping so relaxing But it's time where I'm kid free and husband free and hassle free!

Usually Sundays, but if I am free I go on a Friday or Saturday night, no one is ever there and all the sales start then.

rachel, then im nuts too because I LOVE grocery shopping it's just me, and the store is so orderly (unlike my house) i feel like I can think clear organized thoughts in silence, how often does THAT happen
i think Ive even referred to it as therapeutic
plus the thrill of coupons ?

I go on Saturdays because I am clearly insane.
Going to the supermarket in the UK is like a family outing, the shops are MENTAL on the weekends. To go our local mall, you might queue for 3-4 miles on the motorway...its MENTAL.
I don't work on Mondays, but I am so busy socialising that I can't be arsed to shop on Monday. If I get out of the house at about 10 am, it isn't too bad.

Sundays.
And of course everyone has the same idea as me since I always seem to go when Pathmark is mobbed.
I used to love grocery shopping. Now I loathe it.

Wednesday.
Our trash day is Thursday, so Wednesday I clean out the fridge of any expired food and make a list of what we need.

Same here ... unless DH decides to go one of the days he works from home duing the week (but that's not usually FULL grocery shopping - it's more his necessities or stuff he's made a list of from the purple pack).

we usually go every sunday- its our routine--- sunday morning we plan our meals for the week, make the list and go shopping. the store we go to usually isn't too crowded.
in the summers i'm off of work, so i sometimes go during the week

I try to go one night after work- but I have been working till 8 or 9 the last 2 weeks
so we went on Saturday this week- and I was so stressed- never again!
I think I might have to start going friday after work- I only work till 4 or 5 then

Wegmans? Are you in upstate NY? We LOVE Wegmans!! But we only had them near us when we were in Rochester for college.
