I'd say around 1 year. She did get deli american cheese before that, though.

I just give her the same stuff we eat, the Boar's Head--ped. said this was fine.

She had turkey breast today and she loved it!

Hot dogs I haven't given her yet--there's little/no nutritional value in those things.

She hasn't had bacon or sausage yet.

DC is 18 months and has bacon nearly every day.
I asked my ped and he was fine with it as it is a high fat food good for brain development.

She also eats Boars Head turkey, pizza store pizza, etc. She didn't like hot dogs when we tried it.

These products are not organic nor preservative free but I'm not stressing over that.

DS is just about 11 months and I haven't given him any of the foods you listed. I started him on other table foods at 9 months.
The only reason I don't give him Cold Cuts, bacon, Fast food, Hot dogs is because DH and I rarely eat any of the above foods. I wouldn't mind giving DS a hot dog if we where at a BBQ, but I wouldn't feed it to him any other time. I also try to give him Baked chicken or turkey instead of cold cuts.

She had she first hot dog on Memorial Day at 9 months. She loved it. I just cut it really small, b/c she only had her two bottom teeth at the time. And I am sure you know, to always cut it long ways, not in circles.

I JUST (at 17 m) started letting her have potato chips and now I give her those thin pretzel sticks. She probably could have had them sooner but I was nervous of the sharpness of the potato chips.

I havent given her bacon yet. I think I am still nervous to give her really thick, crunchy things.

oh - and cold cuts i gave when she started table food at 8 months. Take out - it depends on what it is. Pizza - I still take the cheese off but i gave that to her prolly around 10 months.

Marie, what did you give him (Chinese food)?

We get it once a week too but never sure what to give her if anything. We order stuff that we should not even be eating.

I want to say around 18months. I'd give her the low sodium Boars Head turkey or ham. I also gave her the Ball Park All White Meat Turkey Franks. I didn't even know they made nitrate free stuff. I suppose with DD#2 I will try those when the time comes.

i havent done cold cuts, hot dogs or bacon simply b.c of the high amounts of sodium in them as well as the nitrate/preservative issue. i know there are nitrate and preservative free products out there but there are sooooooooo many other things that i can feed my child so i just dont offer them.

i do like bacon and breakfast sausage but i rarely buy it . those things are enjoyed when we go out for breakfast.

I think I started giving DD hotdogs and sausage around age 2. She only gets organic, nitrate-free hotdogs and turkey sausage. Same with her deli meat, which she only eats 1-2 times per week, but it's the Applegate Farms brand and very healthy for her.
