Went to the Girl Scouts light show last night in Bayport...
and it was really great!!! I highly recommend it, definitely over the Holtsville Ecology center one. It's the same price and in the woods. They really went all out for it.
It's on Lakeview Avenue off of Montauk Hwy. in Bayport.

the one in holstville, do all the cars drive around the track? I got confused when someone was telling me about it yesterday.
DD is 8 months old I wouldn't feel comfortable holding her while the car moves.

I agree 100% ! I haven't gone yet this year, but last year I thought the Girl Scout one trumped the Holtsville one

Unless something has changed since last year, theres not a "track"...Basically all the cars line up behind one another and drive super super slow to see all the attractions....

I agree! We went last night as well, and DS LOVED it!

JUST an FYI, at the Juliette Low Friendship center on the way in or out there is a display of Christmas trees. It is called "The Hall of Trees" Each tree has a theme and was made by the kids in different Girl Scout Troops. My Brownie Troop made a tree The trees will all be donated to a family that can not afford one. I believe you can get Hot Chocolate and stuff inside as well. CHECK IT OUT!
