Anybody doing the "light the night" walk.

I'll be walking with my sister in law who is batteling Hodgkins Lymphoma.

This will be our 1st yr.

We will be walking at Citibank Park in CI, just wondering if anyone else will be there?

I was thinking about doing the CI one but I just asked for money from friends and family to do the LI Half for leukemia lymphoma socitey--and felt funny asking again.
I think it's great that you are! I will definitely do another event within the next 6 months!

Oh and all the events are great! You'll have a wonderful time. My sisters and I ran for my brother who has Multiple Myeloma - a blood cancer.

My family and I are doing the walk, this will be our second year. My brother is fighting APL which is a rare form of leukemia. If you would like to meet up and walk with us, we have a nice size group. FM me and let me know. We are walking the CI walk and last year they had thousands of people for the turn out.

We do the one at Hofstra every year. My mom is living with CML so she gets to carry the "survivor" balloon. It is one of my favorite things I do all year and I get very emotional when I see all of the "survivor" balloons.
