by the way im having my sister mail my christmas cards from her job so i dont have to pay for postage... hows that for cheap lol
I don't have the money nor do I want just a pic of me on it so I don't spend the $$ for expensive cards.
I don't care what card I get, as long as I get cards.
I too used the postage machine at work!  Shhhhh.

honestly ...and call me cheapo if you wanna but i hit the dollar store sometimes and stock up on cards for thank your for birthdays etc.....( i dont just crab and go i actually read them all before buying) ....9 times out of 10 the person getting the card is just going to throw it out eventually anyway so why should i spend like 5 bucks on it ...i rather buy a cheaper card and write something from the heart ...if they can look past that and flip the price on the back well then dont send me a card and i wont send one back :)

People are gonna be offended when they get my dollar tree cards, I was mildly offended upon opening them but hey! That's what I got! 
In all seriousness, I don't care what kind of card I get - I like seeing pics of the kiddies that's why I look forward to holiday cards

seriously? In this economy I am lucky to have a roof over my head and food on my table. It's a piece of ***** paper, which ever way you swing it, and unless it's recycled has killed more tree's. I vote no more xmas cards ever!!!!

This might be the silliest thing I have ever read on LIF that someone got annoyed over. I am just happy to get a card. I give out photo cards. I use the free return address things that charities send me when I make donations. Now I will say I noticed the quality that my bank's card looks cheaper this year but I don't care, I would rather have a higher interest rate than a card.

just happy to get one back....
honestly some of those charities send christmas cards. it seems so wasteful to not use them, sometimes i do pass them off to someone who needs it, but this year it came in handy as certain people I did not feel like mailing photo cards to(do to a special situation) so I mailed those instead.

Well I am the cheapest of the cheap. . .before I did photo cards of my dog and then DD. . .I bought this HUGE box of cheapo cards and I got three years of use out of them! The same card  three years in a row.
ETA: Also to save money I handed out the coworker cards at work AND since most of my family lives locally I even hand delivered a few

When my grandma passed away she had a couple of boxes, some unopned, of older Christmas cards.
Instead of letting them go to waste, I used them. I also thought they were cool and vintage-y.

This is too funny.
I will be the first to admit that i've wondered if my cards are "too cheap" compared to the pretty ones I receive. I usually send simple cards that makes me smile/giggle - something funny. I've received a lot of cards where the kids are professionally photographed, etc. and i've wondered when I sent mine if I look like a cheapo but.......seriously, it's the thought. Now i'm wondering if people really do think that of me?! lol
