You are a very strong person and In time you will heal. A very good friend of mine had to give birth to her daughter at 9 months..Only then to find out her child had multiple defects and died shortly afterwards..She looks back now and knows it was for the best.. She works in a field where she sees children and adults with horrible defects and how they suffer in life..and she is glad her child didn't have to suffer. She learned an important lesson about how precious life is.. She now has two children..a healthy boy and girl... and an angel that looks over her. This experience will forever change you..but in the end it will make you an even stronger person..
I am sorry this is so long.. I want to wish you and your family
 during this difficult time.

I always love to say "things happen for a reason", but I don't know what the reason for this is. Hopefully, one day in the future the "reason" for this horrific situation will become clear. Until then, I pray for you, your family and your dear child.

You have amazing strength and are an amazing person & Mommy already! Your post is brining me to tears that you feel you failed as a mommy. This is wrong, not fair and not your fault.
We had a friend in Staten Island whose baby had the same condition. She is now trying for baby #2 as they have a healthy baby boy. You too, will have the children you desire one day and have an angel looking over you.

I'm so sorry to hear this devastating news. I know how awful it feels to have to terminate a pregnancy and I know this must be the worst feeling for you. Do whatever you need to do to get through this. You are absolutely a mom, this baby will be an angel looking over you forever.

There is nothing I could possibly say to make you feel better, but please know that I am thinking of you and I pass along any strength I have to you!
You are in no way a "bad mommy". You did all that you possibly could do and I know you and your family are doing the right thing.
