UPDATE!! So I'm starting week 3 today of couch to 5k and I have a question

UPDATE!!

So I had a CRAPPY day at work and was so upset. I was going to order food in and not run and decided no, I don't want to use food as my comfort. So I ran anyways and it wasn't that bad. I actually felt good after the 3 minutes and could have gone longer. Yes, I was going slow, but I never thought I could run 3 minutes and I did. I'll get faster as my endurance picks up.

So yay!! And now I feel a lot better. Now exercise is my comfort.

I'm following a different schedule than you girls, hence starting week 3 on a Thursday.

But I'm nervous about this 3 minute run. I can do the 90, but after the full run I'm SO tired. Part of it is the my last 90 sec run is up a huge hill. But I still get really tired at the end of each 90 sec interval.

Any tips for starting week 3? Should I just slow down my pace so I can make the 3 minutes?

Hi! you are doing great btw!

I remember dreading the 3 minute run too. Definitely slow your pace and maybe try to run on a more level surface if you can. Anything uphill is definitely going to make it harder, especially when you're just starting out.
Good luck, you can do it!

Exactly! Even now, I take shorter quicker steps going uphill and slow down at the top. And slowing your pace down helps tremendously!

Yay!!! Great job! And doesn't it feel good to go out even when you don't want to?
