We have reservations Saturday at Grassos in Cold Spring Harbor (anyone been here?) and Sunday at City Wine Cellar (think that is the name) in Westbury on Sunday.

Nice. Happy Birthday!!!!   Elbow Room is nice. I have never been to Jedediah Hawkins but always want to try.
What stinks is that most places the price fix is only until 5pm during the week. I only get out of work at 5.

We have reservations tomorrow night at Legal Seafoods.
Saturday night we're going to the Jamesport Manor Inn
Sunday night we're goind to Jedidiah Hawkins Inn (also in Jamesport).
I would like to try Dockside ??? in E. Quoge but not sure when DH will be around or if they have any availability left.

Where did you read that? The site says the only restriction is Saturday night - only available till 7PM.

Ahhhh just changed Sat reservations to Fri night at 8:30 since I have a repairman coming Sat & then DH is in a show that night.

oh that's right! anniversary twin 
all the restaurants are limited in what they offer on the price fix menu. last year during rest. week we went to Collins & Main in Sayville and liked it. but we want to try a new place this year.

My brother went to Jamesport Manor non/ restaurant week and said the food was good, small portions and just interesting (not steak and potatos) kind of food. I want to go too though but dinner out 3x a week in kinda pushing it.

we just got back from The Carriage House and it was delish! I had a salad, salmon served over lentils , and vanilla sorbet for dessert. DH had salad, skirt steak, and bread pudding for dessert. It was ALL delicious and the atmosphere there is so nice....very sophisticated, but still comfortable

We just got back from there. If you wanted steak, it was an extra 7 dollars . The steak was maybe 3 inches wide, no bigger than a hamburger.... not worth 28 dollars in my opinion.
Plus, service was lacking... for every course something was not right, and they lost our dessert order totally. 
Oh well, hopefully Mims will be better for us later in the week.

The Oscars menu was bigger than a number of the other restaurants. I thought it had a lot of choices!

Me and my friends are going to FOUR tonite!!!!
I plan on taking eating out every nite this week! We went to The Clubhouse in huntington last nite,
They offered Filet Mignon as a supplement for $7 dollars to the $21.95 menu
So for 29 dollars you got the appetizer, the steak wich came with an AMAZING Baked potato, then they bring around a server that has butter, sour cream, chives, and real bacon, to add to the potato...it was amazing, plus dessert
The Filet Mignon was on the Menu for 31 dollars, so we got an amazing deal!
And the Martinis were amazing too!

WOW, i am shocked cause i was there last nite, I only ate 1/4 of my steak cause i was sooo full, i couldnt even finish it, i didnt think it was small at all. I thought the service was very good, and the dessert was amazing,
MIMS is Awesome, We eat there all the time, You will have a great experience there!!!!
Its so crazy how 2 different people can eat at the same place on the same nite and have such different experiences
