TTC Novice in first 2WW - questions :)

Long time, no chat! I haven't been able to jump on in a while. I hope your'e all doing well and crossing my fingers that I missed quite a few BFP's while I was gone

This is my first 2WW and I have a couple of (likely tired, old) questions...

I was on the pill for 9 years and just went off so I am completely unfamiliar with my cycles. I paid some attention to my CM and noticed I became completely dry (sorry for the TMI ) CD 14. I also noticed a fairly lubricative sensation CD 12 and 13. From what I understand that should mean I ovulated probably CD 13 - is that right?

If so, if DH and I BD'd on CD 10 but then not again until CD's 14 and 15, do I even have a shot? TYCOF did say that sperm can live up to five days but that seemed awfully long to me.

What do you think?

You are definitely still in the game! Yuo do not have to BD on your O day to get pregnant, so it ain't over till AF shows up!

You should get the book. Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Its very informative. According to that book, your O day was most likely your dry day. Your most fertile day would be CD 12 and 13. It doesn't mean you're oput but if you go to next cycle, BD on your wet days and also O day.

I do have the book (that's what I meant by the acronym TCOYF) but I read it quite some time ago in preparation and stupidly now that I'm doing it I can hardly remember it.

Thank you both for your replies. Based on this we had two shots this month! I would have done CD 12 and 13 but unfortunately it wasn't possible. If we move to next month, I'll be sure to BD our hearts out those days as well
