It is a completely different story. Jessica Biel/Cora isn't a part of it.
I think it is going to be good, but Bill Pullman's mopey character is getting a little annoying. I know his character is a mess and that is part of the dynamic, but still....

The Sinner (Season 2)
Finally watched the first episode last night. I had to watch bachelor in paradise again after just to decompress before I went to sleep.
Eeeek. Def lots of turns. This show sucks me in but boy is it disturbing.

So we had no idea this show even existed, then the other night we were browsing around Netflix and saw it. I remembered there was this thread about it so we started watching season 1 and we are hooked. I usuallu lose interest in all shows and start playing on my phone. This is one of the rare shows that I actually fully watch and don't get bored

Due to this post I watched season 1 and love it. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. I usually start looking at my phone or fall asleep during the first 5 minutes if any show or movie I try to watch but this had me glued.
I’ve tried two different nights now to get through the first episode of season 2 and I just can’t get into it. I’m hoping maybe I can try again tonight and that it will get better. Story line just doesn’t interest me at all so far.

I'm finding season 2 is picking up a bit but it's not the same. I found the characters in the first season to be more interesting.

I thought for sure Bill Pullman was going to kiss that woman (I can only think of her as Norma from The Leftovers). It was still crazy but thankfully didn't cross *that* line. What a weird and interesting show!

I’m sooo hooked on this show! I just finished watching the whole first season last night ??! Question about the first season, remember the guy JD was gonna make business with at the country club? The one that was also having sex with Cora in that basement. How come the detective never investigated who he was cause I’m sure he was also there when the whole thing happened. I was sure the detective was gonna ask JD’s ex girlfriend about him especially when she said they went to that country club to meet someone to business with.

Yes, they searched for him to question him and found out he died (I think of cancer) a few years earlier.
