The bank accepted our offer! UPDATE 4/2: We got the contract!!
UPDATE 4/2: We got the contract from the bank... they accepted our counter (only the closing date changed)! We're having our lawyer look over the contract & the addendums today.

We can't believe it... the bank accepted our offer but wants to close May 5th (instead of 15th), which we can't do b/c we'll be in NY. They also want inspection within 5 days instead of 14... 
Our REA is going to go back to them with a new closing date... we'll see!

I got accepted on a foreclosure house .. same thing and they pinned aeverything on us.. we had to pull out. the contract was soo bad and we would have risked losing ALL our deposit. Good luc I hope it works out for you

my attorney had to take out like 46 things... it was the worst he saw.. the worst thing is called "time of essance" if we didnt close by that date for some reason they would have fined us $113. a day yes you read that right, and they had in there they could keep our deposit. this was a very long and think contract. be careful if you have questions FM me.

Just curious....is this because it was a foreclosure??
