Re: MIL watching DS two days a week, wants him to sleep over
We have a similar arrangement right now, only I stay at my mom's house with DD one night a week. We moved out of our house a month ago and have been staying with in-laws while waiting to close on new house. My MIL and mom both watch DD. So now, the night before my mom usually watches DD, I go sleep there with DD and commute to work from my mom's house. It stinks that we don't see DH for one night, but I feel like at least I'm not without DD for more than my regular work day and it's easier on my mom, who would have to drive 30 mins to pick her up and my MIL and then 30 mins to take her back to her house.
It's a lot of schlepping, but it's temporary, so it seems like the best option for us right now. Since it's a temporary situation for you, is sleeping there with DS an option? Or is it too far from your work?
