No - different schools, but the same one now for about 9 years - she teaches Spanish. She raised 3 dcs while working full time - she is pretty amazing.

My mom is 57 - when my son was born she went to workign 3 days a week - she is a nursing supervisor - but she does not take care of my son a regular basis - she loves to play tennis, golf, workout, Ski - they are skiing three weeks out west this year
my dad is almost 63 and he works full time but believes in taking a week or two off from dec -april and then golfing at least 4 days a week in the summer - he owns his own business - he loves to golf and sail, and puts up with skiing because we all do it and tennis

Hi, Snowprincess!!!! You have a very active Mom/Dad!!!! I imagine as a Nursing Supervisor, your Mom has a stressful job at times!!! My DH golfs!!! Loves it even though he gets disgusted with his scores sometimes, and threatens not to play again!!! "Uh huh, sure hon, I've heard this before"!!!!  Mary

Mine is 56, and is going back to school. She already had a bachelor's, but never worked in her field - stayed home with us while we were growing up, and then got a part time job just to stay busy. So she left her job a few years ago and is back in college.

My mom is 65, retired. Her hobbies are scrapbooking, walking, grandchildren & friends. She is a complete social butterfly.
My dad just retired this year. So now they're adjusting to a lot of "togetherness" that retirement brings.

My mom is 44. Currently does medical billing. Her passion is being a mom and I know she is hoping for some grandchildren from me soon.
She was never able to be a SAHM, but she's hoping to be a SAHGM.

My mom is a retired NYC public school teacher, she is now babysitting my baby girl 3 x a week...she is a very acttive lady, she loves to discover new places, she loves to shop and she loves I <3 Lucy haha!

My mom is 77 years old and continues to work full time...will not retire despite our pleas....her hobbies are movies and atlantic city..oh, and playing scrabble...she has been a widow for 27 years now......I hope I can have 1/4 of her energy when i reach her age!

Hi, Elizabeth!!!! I'll say!!!! That's one energetic Mom you have!!!! My Mom was widowed at age 43. One of the saddest things I ever heard her say was, " If I had known he (Dad) was going to die, I would have told him I love him." My Dad died of a sudden heart attack, age 43. Mary

My mom is 50 and she is a teacher. Shw had me at 20 and was a stay at home mom/wife until she was in her early 40's and then started college. I give her so much credit for doing it. She's awesome

My mom is 71 and retired from the police department and moved to Florida right after my son was born 14 years ago  . She is active in the Ladies Ancient Order of Hiberians and is the president of the homeowner's association in her community. My mom started a business that makes banners and sashes for the St. Patrick's Day parades all over the United States, so from the beginning of January to St. Pat's day I hardly speak to her she is so busy. My mom is also an extremely talented artist who likes to paint and sculpt. If she is not busy doing all of the above she likes to travel with my step-dad. I love my mom so much and miss her terribly.
