Ehh I don't know, I think she is more mature then most 20 year olds today.
She takes care of her daughters and has always been a good mom to them. Her and Corey (her ex) are friends and get along good. He evengets along good with her fiance.
Compared to Amber and Jenelle I'll say she is much better a mom then these two. At least she still has custody and puts them first on her list of priorities. Amber and Jenell know nothing but themselves on that list.
She sure isn't doing herself any favors by getting married again at such a young age. Then again, she comes from a small town and its more common to get married young then in big city areas.

And if you were comparing to "back in the old days", my mom had 3 kids by the time she was 22. She & my dad did pretty well for themselves.
my mom got pregnant at 16 with the person she lost her virginity to, my dad, she marries, while pregnant at 16 and then she had me at 19...she worked her butt off...took classes to get herself a good job, maintained their own apartment and paid their bills. Things didn't work out between her and my dad but after over 25 years separated they are still best friends and always were united in their love and care for us. She was and still is a great mom, despite the hardships she went through and even the mistakes she may have made while raising us. I did not wind up a pregnant teen simply because my mom did...but if I had...my mom was a role model of TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.

I've done my fair share of drugs back in my "raver" days. I barely even drink now...since years before my son. My son is my world and I know I'm a good mom.
What a disgustingly cheap shot. To refer to someone being "on drugs" implies that the person can't come off drugs. Nothing in this quote that you dug up ever said that. Maybe this is really about something else, as so many posts are.
Maybe im not seeing it but i dont see where she said she wind up on drugs!! I think that was wrong of you to bring that up i agree that was a low blow and you should apologize

My FIRST thought was that this kid looks exactly like Lance Bass!

Since Teen Mom she has been married, divorced, pregnant with twins she lost, remarried, and pg again....I don't see how she is a role model for young girls.
Agree word for word. Doesn't seem she learned anything from being a teen mom but continuing the same pattern.

Teen Mom 2 Star Leah Messer Is Pregnant With Third Child
I don't think anyone thinks she is a bad mom. Yes from all the Teen moms she was one that definitely took good care of her kids and she has double the responsibility but I can't help but think this girl has no brains!! Her paycheck from MTV has deluded her into thinking she needs no career/education to fall back on. I can only pray that my daughters want more in life then to be a young mother who needs to rely on their boyfriends/husbands for support with no back-up plan. If you have so much time on your hands how about going back to school first Leah? Is your bioloigical clock ticking that loud at 20yrs old?

This girl simply doesn't learn from her past mistakes nor does she really think about her future. She seems to have no aspirations outside of this and it's a little sad. Instead of taking the money that she makes off of the show and using it to better herself and be an example for young moms out there, she is just perpetuating a cycle.
