Teen Mom 2 Star Leah Messer Is Pregnant With Third Child
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Calvert, 20, is expecting her first child with husband Jeremy Calvert, 23, this winter, the MTV star confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
"Jeremy and I are excited to be adding a new addition to our family," Calvert (whose maiden name is Messer) tells Us. "Being a teen mom was difficult, but I'm older and in a different place now -- married to Jeremy and excited for our family to grow."
The reality starlet filed for divorce from her first husband, Corey Simms -- the father of her two-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah -- in April 2011. She tied the knot with Calvert one year later in Catlettsburg, Ky. in April.
"Ali and Aleeah can't wait to meet their new brother or sister," Calvert adds. "We feel incredibly blessed and look forward to this next chapter in our lives."
The third season of Teen Mom 2 is set to premiere Nov. 12 on MTV.

god bless...being a teen mom to twins made her mature fast I'm sure. The responsibility that it takes to raise twins at such a young age puts her at a different level mentally than most 20 year olds. She always seemed to take care of those kids and make sure they were healthy and ok. I wouldn't hold her past against her...there are plenty of ladies who get married and pregnant at 20...some of them are on this site...and they lead fruitful lives with loving families...on the flip side there are people who are older and fight, may not be the best parents etc. Who are we to judge? I wish them the best and hope they manage well with their 3rd child

Yup, and like so many college educated, financially responsible and invested career woman I needed the help of a small army of RE's.  Another person with a roller-coaster/drama fueled lifestyle rewarded with income from a reality show. Not a role model for young girls.
Sorry, but I am going to judge. As the mother of a DD, I find this young lady's lifestyle to be a "teachable moment" of what not to do... instead, stay in school, get an advanced education, a sustainable career where she can support herself w/o anyone else's help, prepare for her future, live, laugh, love, see the world and then have children, if she so desires... she will be much more prepared emotionally and financially.

Ehh I don't know, I think she is more mature then most 20 year olds today.
She takes care of her daughters and has always been a good mom to them. Her and Corey (her ex) are friends and get along good. He evengets along good with her fiance.
Compared to Amber and Jenelle I'll say she is much better a mom then these two. At least she still has custody and puts them first on her list of priorities. Amber and Jenell know nothing but themselves on that list.
She sure isn't doing herself any favors by getting married again at such a young age. Then again, she comes from a small town and its more common to get married young then in big city areas.
Not sure how MANY times is common

I think she is immature, but she is definitely a good Mom to those girls. They had some health issues and I was impressed with the way she handled that. Also she is from Kentucky...I think things *might* be a little different than growing up on LI

I don't think she's ever been called (or marketed as) a role model for young girls. I certainly don't think it was MTV's intention in having shows like 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom. Now, in some ways that may have backfired due to the notoriety, attention, and $$$ that a lot of these girls have gotten, but I still would not say that anyone is viewing or thinking of them as role models.

I completely agree.
And if you were comparing to "back in the old days", my mom had 3 kids by the time she was 22. She & my dad did pretty well for themselves.
