no more than $50. I feel like I really have to search high and low to find something nice and substantial.

It's always a search. 2 of my siblings want us to only spend $20. So I usually go the gift card route.

I've gotten some great deals...When I see them I buy a bunch. Last year all the men got Coach wallets from Marshall's that were $40....The year before I bought Coach scarves at the outlets for $30. For me part of the thrill is finding the great deal, and it does take some looking!

No- $50 is usually my limit, ( $30 for coworkres & other obligation gifts) but I don't feel the need to get anything fancy-- I often get gift cards.
My family is prety much over gifts. We seriously cut down who we give to & how much we give.

I think in order to spend less than $50 and get a really nice gift you have to shop continuously throughout the year.
My MIL does all of her holiday shopping throughout the year and that helps.

we go a grab bag with our BIL/SIL's - our limit is $50 - usually we all ask for somthing or a GC.
