why is nice sapphire jewelry so hard to find?
I am looking for a nice classic piece - everything I see is soooo cheesy.
WHere can I look?
Does Elsa do sapphires - or just wedding jewelry? Any other ideas?

I totally agree. I have been searching for emerald jewelry for years and I hate everything I find.

I saw some nice pieces at Lord & Taylors. There was a sapphire ring there that I loved but I waited to long - they nolonger have it.

Have you tried Sophie's Creations in Fresh Meadows? My husband usually buys most of my jewelry from there.

Bailey, Banks & Biddle has nice things too but IMO overpriced...

My DH got me a beautiful sapphire and diamond heart pendant at Tri-County a couple of years ago. I'll have to check the box to see which jeweler.
We bought a sapphire ring in Cabo on HM too - great value on sapphires in Mexico.
