Yes, I did read them. I remembered the name of what I am talking about— Project 100,000. It started in 1966. So, yes, if the draft is reinstated, this cannot happen again. There is nothing disgusting about what I said. What happened was disgusting. It’s history. It’s a fact. It happened. It cannot happen again.

Yes that is disgusting however your prior posts really do not convey this. They seem to imply that the all people that were sent to the front lines were expendable. It's a subtle difference but the reference to your father being sent to Germany instead of the frontlines didn't help.
Anyway, as a PP has suggested, just apologize for the implication in the original post if you didn't intend for it to come off that way and move on.

I’m sorry that something was implied from my original post which was not said. And that the use of quotation marks around expendable was not understood. It’s the internet and tone cannot be transferred.
But, no, there really is no need to apologize for something if people seem to think I implied something when I did not. The discussion was about the draft and how I do not really agree with it because of this controversy and how it can happen again and where and how they send people. I used my father has an example, but I did not say wow he is so smart! And all those that got sent to Vietnam were not smart! That was never said.
In fact, further down the thread I mentioned that my dad got left back in the 2nd grade (he still has literacy problems to this day). Because of that fact, you can also “imply” it as me saying “well, because they did these tests, my dad got sent to Germany, so they obviously didn’t mark it correctly. Something clearly went wrong” You don’t know me or my family. Maybe that’s what I meant. But I didn’t mean anything, just simply stating that I don’t agree with a draft and this testing.
I have explained this over and over again. There is no more explaining to do. I really think a lot of panties on this board are in a bunch constantly. And many people must have arthritis in their hands from all the pearl clutching that is done.

I know how to apologize perfectly well. I explained myself in a lot of posts. I’m not trying to get the last word in. If it was a question of clarity, somebody could have said what are you implying? Instead it was passive-aggressive behavior.
Frankly, I’m sick of being targeted on this site and this thread is an example of people targeting me as it’s always the same group of people. People have said many mean things to me and I did not demand an apology. It’s a message board and I try not to take it too seriously, but it gets annoying when I’ve been told that I have mental problems, there is something wrong with my SO, my views don’t count since I don’t live in the US, I’m anti-American, etc.
This is getting ridiculous because of an implication. It really is. I am quite direct and blunt and there are no hidden meanings in things I say. I’m done.

I went off Effexor because I had a serious reaction to it and went on another medicine for ANXIETY (like the rest of the world). Making it sound like I went off my meds makes it sound like I should be in an institution.
I don’t know why I’m explaining this to you. It’s none of your business and thanks for bringing up my medical history from things you found out about on other boards. That’s really low.

I posted information about myself on other message boards, but I never mentioned that I “went off my meds” as you seem to be claiming.
I’m really starting to think there is something going on with you. And then you gaslight me and make it look like I’m unhinged by saying “get well soon.” It’s quite disturbing the way you keep saying that.
And recent posts of yours (on this board) such as:
-distrust in main stream media
-belief in a conspiracy theory that the election had a lot of voter fraud
-the fact that you thought someone made up a screen name to impersonate you (honestly I don’t know what the story with that was). I’m actually kind of convinced that you made that up yourself to say you were being impersonated or something wacky like that
-the fact that you say the original VB got kicked off but when you click on that name it doesn’t say “invalid poster.” It was probably a previous screen name you had before that original VB because no one registers on this site anymore.
-the fact that you seem to be so concerned with my sleep schedule
And so many other things. It’s kind of creepy the things that you have done to others as well. Just this incessant need to argue constantly with everyone.

Sorry to hear you have to be up so early.
My daughter has no interest what I post on pages online that are anonymous and has no guilt in her life.
2 different names and yes they were made and seem to be gone once I reported them... interesting, right?
I know when you get kicked off this site.
