Re: Spinoff to bathroom door post...

No...we sleep with our door open to the request of our 4 year old. I'll do ANYTHING as long as he sleeps in his own room.

on the weekdays - yes. Because our cat has a habit of coming in and howling at night cause she wants some lovin. Chat Icon On the weekends we leave it open cause if she wakes us up it isn't such a big deal Chat Icon

No b/c my dog eats only when I am sleeping so if I shut the door he will bark and wake me up so he can get to the kitchen.

Re: Spinoff to bathroom door post...

I've always been told it's safer to sleep with bedroom doors closed, for parents and children.

In case of fire it keeps out smoke, heat, and gases and can increase available escape time.

My parents drilled that into my head since I was little.

Re: Spinoff to bathroom door post...

Summertime - we leave it closed because of the AC. During the cooler months, we leave it open

Re: Spinoff to bathroom door post...

No, I cant because my dog sleeps with me and if he needs water in the middle of the night I leave the door open.

My bedroom is a large loft. But when i did have a door, I still didn't close it, because cats/dog would scratch on it!

Always closed, otherwise we won't be able to sleep. Puppy (our rabbit) is a night creature, and he runs around in his cage ALL NIGHT!

Nope. The only time we do close it is when we have people staying overnight. Other than that it's always open.
