Spinoff of washing your kids-do YOU use soap?
I totally understand the drying affects and the irritation soap can cause but again these women on another board do NOT use soap at all to clean themselves and preferably their private spots!!!
I am sorry but after a day like today in the sun, I stink-all over-lol!! and water is NOT going to cure that.
I can't imagine climbing into bed with my dh and NOT being clean-he would surely turn away from me-lol!!

Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash in the summer, Dove cream oil in the winter.

I have dry & senstive skin and really love Bath & Body Works shower gel.
I can't imagine not using soap, even it was something REALLY mild, you need to clean yourself, not just get wet

I don't use "soap", but I do use bathwash or shower gel daily. Are you sure you understood correctly?

Oh, yes...they say that they only use water on themselves and especially their "private areas" as that is what drs. say to do.
Never met a dr. that said that and the only reason I have found online is that you can get an infection from some things, which I know BUT wouldn't you just find something that suited you??

Yes, soapy stuff...something that lathers..cleans..disinfects, gently.

I was in the pool today...I'm a chlorinated, stinky hot mess...yes..Oil of Olay with Shea Butter.

I woman I used to work with actually told me she only used soap in her private areas because she had very dry skin. At least she used soap there.
I cannot imagine not using soap. I lather up like a soap commercial.

I always use a body wash....otherwise what is the purpose of showering - you would get "rinsed off" I guess but not clean...

depends on the day, but ivory soap or whatever body wash stuff i have in the shower ..
side note, i guess a lot of us just went over to try to find this topic b/c when i went to ivillage's message board and searched for "soap" i got this message:

People seriously do not use soap I run at least 6 miles a day so soap is definitely necessary.

Always soap! However, no perfume soaps since those make my skin break out and oh, don't get me started about perfume soaps in the netherlands. I like Dr. Bronner's actually b/c it's made with essential oils and is organic and natural.
OK, now I'm REALLY starting to sound like a hippie
