Spinoff- how old were you when your parent passed away

I was 27 when my Mom died

my sister was only 21 and my brother 24

she never saw my sister graduate from college, never made it to wedding and will never meet her grandchildern

i was 20 years old. she missed my college graduation, my wedding and the birth of her two grandchildren. and so many other every lil day things that would have made her smile . its sucks. i have no other words for it, but it really SUCKS.

I was 23 when my mom died - it was 9 months before my wedding. My babies (the first g-children) were born 6 months ago.

I was 20 -- she missed college graduation, moving into my first apartment, moving into my first house, my wedding (that one was the worse.)

When she was sick, all she kept saying was how all she wanted to do was dance at my wedding, take my kids to the nutcracker (a tradition we had when i was little) and buy me dishes for my first apartment. My dad wanted her to sit down with me and buy dishes via internet WHILE she was sick so she could at least have that, but she didn't want to do that. It really S U C K S not having our moms/dads/etc!

i had just turned 30 and she bought me a black pearl necklace. its the last thing she ever gave me at least she was there for my birthday right? hugs to all of you

I was 30 when my mom passed and my sister was 26.

I was 21 when my dad passed away. My sister was 17.

I am 32....my mom just passed this past November

27 when my father had a devistating stroke, still alive but he needs a lot of care.

Almost 23 when my Mom passed and 30 when my dad passed.

I was 24 when my mother died. My sister was 19. I found out I was pregnant exactly one month later and am due in 4 weeks

I was 28.

She was at my wedding (last day I saw her) She missed seeing one of my brothers get married and never got to meet my kids.

28 and 3.5mths pregnant at the time. He did live long enough to see his first grandchild born (my niece) but he was already really sick so he never really got to enjoy it.

I was 27 when my mom died. Still feels like yesterday and it was 5 years ago.

I was 23 when my father died. In fact my father's biopsy that confirmed everything was on my 23rd birthday.
