I find this a little contradictory 
"I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates"
That said, Winfrey used her show to introduce Barack Obama to America's women voters, and has endorsed and campaigned with the Democratic nominee. She also was very visible at Obama's acceptance speech last week in Denver.

She isn't using her show as a platform in the election, but she is personally endorsing him.
I find nothing wrong with it if she introduced him before he made his bid for presidency.
As an employer, I would stay away from having my company endorse a candidate too.

Must be a slow news day if this is making the news.
Who cares? I'm sure there are plenty of people who won't interview Sarah Palin, but that isn't reported on.
Oprah is not a political show. Its Oprah's show! She can invite whomever she wants. She can not invite whomever she wants. She is a fan of Obama and endorsed him. She doesn't have to be fair.

why would Sarah even want to go on her show- Oprah doesn't know politics- did you see that episode about the Health care in the US- she really had no clue and her questions were very dumb.
If she interviewed Sarah, Oprah would just keep talking and not let Sarah talk or answer- ugh she annoys me, i wind up deleting most of her episodes on my DVR unless it's a topic i'm interested in.

She can do as she pleases, I'd rather her not extend an invitation because I don't think she has it in her to be unbiased.
Total sidetrack, but I lost respect for Oprah when I saw her interview Billy Joel. IMO, I don't see her as a credible journalist in any regard. She's an entertainer in my eyes.
