Oprah said she will not be interviewing Sarah Palin until after the election.
Do you feel that she is being bias?

Is it Oprah not interviewing Palin or Palin not doing the interview?
If Oprah is not interviewing Palin, then I would say she is foolish. She is the 2nd woman vice presidential candidate. How could she not interview her?
I'm not following Oprah's interview schedule but if she's interviewed Obama, she should extend the invitation to McCain too. I don't think she is asking Biden for an interview.

I don't see what the big deal is. Oprah can have anyone she wants on her show. She is an Obama supporter; she doesn't have to be unbiased. Why would she want Palin on her show before the election? What if Palin did well and won over new voters? Why would Oprah want to give her that opportunity?

Personally, I don't care bc I can't stand Oprah (if she did interview Palin, it would be an hour of Oprah asking her questions and then when Palin tries to answer, Oprah would interupt her...  ). But I think people are making a big deal bc of how big of a woman's rights "activist" (if you can call it that) Oprah is and how big of a deal that a woman VP is on the ticket.... who knows though.

I heard that her staff was completely divided and at a deadlock over this. And in the end, they decided to not interview either Palin or Biden.

She is not interviewing any of the Pres/VP candidates. She will not have Obama or Biden either.
ETA: So for that reason I don't think it is biased. If she did interview her it would be an extremely biased interview since she has publicly endorsed Obama.

Oprah said she isnt going to interview any of the candidates. So I think it is fair.
BUT on a slightly different topic, I think she should have stuck to her old policy of not endorsing any candidates. She knows that many people blindly follow her and IMO she was irresponsible to endorse ANYONE.

From what I've read, Palin isn't doing interviews with anyone for a couple more weeks. So even if Oprah wanted to interview her now, she likely would not get it.
