Another ridiculous update: they called and said if we don't return the "arrangement" by tonight, they will reverse the refund and charge the credit card $100+ tomorrow. I'd like to see that happen. We'll be paying a visit to the 5th Precinct forthwith.

OMG are they for real?!?!?!? They should be so ashamed of the final product they gave you, that they just take the loss. Good thing for Yelp & the photo uploaded tool!

How do you think your mom would have reacted to this? Would she have laughed at the ridiculousness of it all?
My mom passed a little less then 2 years ago and sometimes when I get upset about things regarding her grave (Flowers were removed at one point and there is a SERIOUS deer problem in that cemetery so all flowers are eaten within hours of being laid) I try to not get too angry or hurt. My mom would have found it funny. Maybe try to think of her when stuff like this happens and try not to get so upset.

Thank you. Yeah, the deer are really a nuisance there. I agree, I really tried to laugh at this whole thing, and I did after I saw the stupid cut-out lettering. It's almost unbelievable. And how my mother was, she would have been rip-roaring up a storm, lol. It's just so amazing that they charged that kind of money for something that looks like my DD made in daycare.

My mother passed away almost 4 years ago and is also in a cemetary where there are tons of deer! The flowers don't last. I've learned my lesson..Artificial flowers!
To the OP: I am so incredibly sorry this happened. I gasped when I read your last update! This florist should be 100% ashamed of themselves. Horrible!

I understand! It's so awful to loose our mom's then to have to deal with this sh!t!? My Dad just put the blankets on my Mom and Grandparent's graves and he said they look really nice. I can ask where he had them made if you would like!

wow i am a floral designer and the first one is seriously one of THE most disgraceful things i have ever seen.
the second one arrangement wise wasn't as deplorable but the lettering seriously makes me wonder how these people can call themselves designers.
i am sorry that you ended up with such a poor arrangement. i hope you are able to find someone who can create a more elegant arrangement for you.

Wow! My family has been getting blankets from there for our grandparents for about 25 years. We have also gotten other things from them too. They were always very tasteful and worked with that cemetery's rules (they are pretty strict in that cemetery).
I'm sorry this happened to you. Did they change owners?
