SO PISSED - worst florist arrangement I've ever seen (pic) UPDATED! Scroll down for their 'Revision', lol!!!!
I am @$# fuming. I already called my bank and had the transaction cancelled.
My mother died 6 mos ago, and I wanted a grave blanket for the holidays placed at her headstone. My brother went to this florist near the cemetery last week and ordered a "TASTEFUL" holiday grave blanket that was to simply read : OUR MOTHER.
He goes there today, and this is the joke that was laying there:
'UOR MOTHER'!!!??
Are you fn kidding me?!!! Complete with cotton ball 'snow', stupid tchotchke crap straight out of the .25 cent machine. This is such garbage, not only for the ridiculous spelling, but the the shittty font and all the other nonsense just thrown atop it. Did they cut the letters from construction paper? It looks like a 4 yr old made it. I am so pissed that money was wasted on this. He called the florist and they saw nothing wrong with it. They offered to send someone out there to 'correct the spelling'.
How do businesses like this STAY IN BUSINESS? What a disgrace to her grave site.

I am so sorry. Especially that you wanted it for your mom, and this is what you got..
That is simply awful. Really, WHO made that? I am no floral arranger but I could have done a better job. OMG. What did you pay for that? I would dispute it with the credit card company.

i am so sorry you have to go through the added stress of dealing with this. i can not believe they would find this acceptable and not even notice that the spelling was wrong!
Did you make them aware that you are canceling the transaction? What did they say?

Second, this is the worst floral arrangement I have ever seen. I would raise h@ll. It's a disgrace and I can't imagine a florist thinking this is okay. Sorry you have to deal with such nonsense.

I'm so sorry. This is an insult to you and to your mother's memory. I'm glad you got your money back. Can you post a review on Yelp or somewhere and let people know what this florist is taking people's money and doing?

I am not giving them the courtesy of a heads up that I am cancelling the transaction. The credit card co has already been put on notice. They will be handle it first thing tomorrow.. I am so fn disgusted with them.
FYI it's on Rt 112

Horrible-I'm so sorry. Over $100 for THAT?! I mean, even if the letters got bounced around in shipping-it still looks awful. It's good that you took a picture as evidence.

It gets better!! I nearly died when I saw their revision. They went back to the grave and attempted to fix it. They definitely cut the letters from a piece of cardboard box they had laying around, poured some glitter on it, and Elmer's glued it to the arrangement. At this point I am laughing, because it's so pathetic.
The thing was removed from the grave, and he drove back to the florist. As soon as he walked in, they all stopped and they conceded that they 'dont know what they're doing', and gave him a full refund with receipt. lol

I can't believe it. They have to be high on something to charge that amount, for something that my 5 year old would have done a better job at. I would say they don't know what they are doing. They should have told you that before these atrocities! I'm so sorry!!!!
