Caiden had a soft lump on his head for quite a while after he was born. His was from them using the suction thing on his head to help get it out. He was a csection baby but he was big. Could it be that?

Yup - thats exactly what it was!!!!
He was vaccuumed out... thank God its nothing, but the doctor did say he'll have it for the rest of his life!!!  hopefully he'll always have that nice head of hair to cover it - if not, he'll need some cool hats - my dad is balding, so I hope Cailen isnt doomed to be bald and have his lump show....
DH and I have been calling him lumpy! 
I have to say, I feel like a million pounds have been lifted from my shoulders since I heard its totally fine!!! 
ETA: Ladies, I really want to thank you for all of your kind thoughts and prayers - it means so much to me - I'm sure you can all relate to how devastating it is when you are that worried about your child - this is so new for me, and the 1st of millions of worries, I am sure!

Just so you know... he will not have it for the rest of his life. Caiden's went away. He's a little over 3 yrs old now and it's been gone for quite a while. I think it completely went away by 1.5 yrs old. Don't listen to the doc... even my ped. said it will go away!!! Glad to hear that's what it was!

Thats good to hear - but honestly, I was so relieved that it was nothing serious that it didn't bother me that he would have it forever until later.... but definitely a bonus if it goes away all together!!! Thank you for letting me know!!!

Taylor has a "strawberry" on the top of her head. I always have to be careful brushing the little bit of hair that she has. It always worries me and I forgot to ask the ped. at her last appt, luckily, she goes back next week for her 2 month checkup, I am bringing my list for him to go over

Glad to hear that it's not more serious.
Nate's head was lopsided also for a few weeks and it's perfectly round now. It was from pushing for 2 hours.
his lump was pretty obvious
