She about gave me a freaking heart attack this morning!!!
I go in to get Kaitee this morning and this is what I find!
Blood all over her sheets and her face!
I called DH freaking out. I told him I can't find a thing wrong with her. I checked her mouth, ears, nose, even her eyes! I couldn't find anything wrong with her. I cleaned her up and went on with our morning. I take her up for her nap and I bend down to find her paci (she always throws it out of her crib). Guess what I found??? A freaking Brown Dry Erase marker OPEN!!!! Daddy left them within her reach of the crib! All the blood I found was a marker. I couldn't believe it! I just wished she could have grabbed the green or pink so I wouldn't have freaked out!

Oh.My.God. I give you the mommy of the year award for keeping it together! THank god it wasn't blood! I can see on her cheek the outline of a marker

OMG!!! I would have DIED if I saw that in the crib in the morning! I am so happy that it wasn't blood!

Glad it wasn't blood, but we've seen blood on occasion with DD (and DS at that age). Their nails are razor-sharp, and even with trimming them, they still slice their face. Their arms are flapping around because they can't control them too well, and they keep getting cut. Luckily, they heal really fast, so it's not an issue, and at this point, the panic doesn't set in since we've seen it so many times.

She has cut herself and bled a little bit before. But she only had 2 scrathes on her face that were from days ago that are almost healed. I was freaking becuase I couldn't find anything wrong with her.
