Real tree or fake?

We did real for years, but fake is so much easier.

Real tree or fake?

I prefer a real one but dh will pnly use a fake one, he hates the mess real ones make. I love the smell of real ones and I always had one growing up.

Fake. Hate the smell of pine, hate the needles and constant watering of the tree. Did it one year, and never again.

Fake...we get a real wreath for the door that adds the smell.

Real! Love the smell and we always seem to get a nice one at Home Depot each year...we baby it and don't have too much of a needle issue. Basically, everytime we refill the cat bowl (two to three times a day), we check on the tree.

We cut ours down now that we have our house. Eventually I want a second tree in our master though, and that one will be fake

We do real every year.

We go and cut ours down, we've been doing it for the past 9 years. I can't wait to go next weekend!!!

When we have a tree, we do real. We don't put up a tree if we aren't home for Xmas.

We go out east every year to a tree farm and cut our own down. last year was rough. sandy did a number on the douglas firs. Spruce are more hearty but DH is highly allergic. His eyes swelled shut one year I dont ever want a fake tree.

I did real for a while, I love going out and picking out a tree at night when it's cold. So fun. BUT I also love having the tree up right after Thanksgiving so for that reason I've been doing a pre-lit fake tree for a while. I go back and forth.

I love a real tree but with a dog, two cats and a toddler the fake tree is much easier.

Fake. We have a real wreath on our door. I just hate sweeping up pine needles.

I love having a real tree but I hate the constant cleaning and maintenance of it. Last year we bought a fake tree, but I think this year I want a real one (now to just convince DH)

Only do a real one. We go to a tree farm and cut it down.

I will only do fake. I like my tree to be perfect and real ones are always misshapen looking to me
The branches look real on mine- so many people have thought it was real when they see it- but the shape is perfection.

Plus i hate wasting a tree like that... just seeing them at the curb after Christmas makes me sad.

We always had a fake tree growing up and DH and I always had one too. Finally last year, now that we are in our new place with cathedral ceilings, we bought a giant 10ft real tree. I don't think we will ever be able to go back to the fake. The pine smell was so nice walking in to every day and it just looked so pretty.

I've always had a real tree growing up. So I'm continuing the tradition with my dd. We cut down our own as well. All about the experience. Reminds me of Christmas vacation everytime

Fake. I grew up with a fake tree...it's a tradition

DH and I did do the real tree once or twice. It was nice and all but didn't make it feel more magical or anything , so fake it is. I can always get a Christmas tree/pine needle scented candle if I want to, lol.
