Question of my day... do you love me or hate me?
Word has come from some friends up north that this forum board has some severe haters of me and my elf friends. Why the hate? Just an honest elf trying to make a buck in this hard economy.
Santa pays well, has good benefits and Mrs. Claus makes a mean gingerbread cookie.
Why do people think I am creepy? Just a happy little elf working for the big man up north trying to spread joy and love and bring Christmas cheer to children all over the world.

LOVE this.
I love the creativity behind the concept of elf on a shelf...and it is because of that I will get one for my home. However, the idea of telling a child to behave bc an elf will report it to santa vs. he should behave bc it's the right thing to do is something I've thought alot about.

Yes. My daughter knocks off the BS as soon as I remind her the Elf is watching and is going to tell Santa Claus. She won't be this gullible forever, so I'm taking advantage now.

We are HUGE fans of your movie, but we bought a different Elf because it was $6. I spent the other $24 buying the props I need to "fit in" Marshmallows for the Jacuzzi, food coloring to make your pee green, vases and GI Joes to hold you hostage...ya know all the stuff you HAVE to get to be cool with your Elf.

My SIL posts pics on FB of their elf every day and all it does is make me want to have a kid to do this with. You can get very creative with this. I think it's cute!
