I think the best bet, is to do a cross post. This way it does not get deleted....maybe the powers that be need to address this issue as to why some posts get moved and some don't......

juney, actually, if you are talking about your COUSIN'S wedding, it should be on Families Helping Families
unless it's a destination wedding - then it goes on the travel board.

well apparently, there are some that get moved and some that don't......I am just saying maybe someone can explain the rationale to us......no big deal, let's not get all worked up over it

WELL LIF is not LIW. I don't goto LIW anymore. Don't like it.
NOW if there was a WEDDING BOARD ON LIF then all the wedding threads would get moved!

She isn't upset she was just asking a simple ?-how it got this far is crazy but than again it doesn't surprise me

Personally, I also find crossposting annoying. If I wanted to know about Juney's cousin's wedding, I'll visit FHF myself. I don't want another notice in NFR telling me whats over there. If I want to know what's there, I'll look. Then you end up having many posts just asking people to look someplace else. If you keep on crossposting, then every board looks the same, so what's the point of having separate boards to begin with?

What in the world is going on here? She asked a simple question - one that has in fact been asked ALOT in the past. And she seemed to just be giving an example of the wedding post. We all know that there are tons of posts on NFR that could be moved to other boards - that aren't.
The question being - why do some posts get moved and some don't??

And I all I said was I don't goto LIW anymore. Im sure if there was a WEDDING BOARD here on LIF then all the wedding posts would be moved to weddings.. Just like the Celebrity ones get moved to Celebrity. If you guys see a thread that you think belongs somewhere else Report it and it will be moved also. Thats all I was getting at.
