I get 6 days for sick/personal time. I can take them however I want. And they don't carry over.
I get 2 weeks vacation as well which also don't carry over, but if I have any left, I get paid for those.

I think in our employee handbook it says that its unlimited, but that our supervisor can determine if we are abusing it...I have used 2 sick days in 3 years at my job, and 1 personal day when my kitchen was flooding.

In our handbook it says 6 days but if you are salaried it's pretty much unlimited.

I get unlimited sick and personal days but probbaly have only taken at most 3 per year i the four years i have worked here....

Honestly, though, if you're sick - take the day off! There's nothing worse than going in sick, feeling horribly all day AND getting other people sick in the process. It's just not worth it!
