Oh that's GREAT news!!!!!!! So glad the test was NEGATIVE; that must've been a torturous wait!!!!
Try to let the good news be the takeaway on this one; sometimes it's not even "operator error" but a mechanical error!!! I had something similar happen (though not as serious as your situation) after DS's 1yr bloodwork; his lead read high (not dangerous, but elevated!) so we went and had it retested and it was a totally different (lower) number. The docs said more than likely it was a calibration issue with the machines that were used.
