Your comment about the birth control. It is very easy to see who have children and who don’t by nasty comments to others.
I won't confirm or deny obviously, but there are some people that actually try to raise their kids as functioning adults. Not as many with the millennial generation, but I was raised to have many responsibilities as a child and teen. Being responsible for my BC as a teen was one of them. a 21 year old adult is just that, an adult.
It's not the comment that identifies you as not a parent, it's the judgement. I'm not being snarky at all. I am just being honest.

You aren't the first to say you do this. I find it interesting. Do people really worry that someone on here is going to stalk them to the point that they or someone in their family will be harmed? I try not to post about things like when I plan to travel (although we almost always have a house sitter so I hope no one gets any ideas....) because it is pretty easy to figure out my name IRL. But I would never make up details like having or not having children, being married or divorced etc.
Because if you say you know about their lives because they posted for years, you will be accused of being a stalker. She has said before she deleted things for a “stalker”.

As I just said a few posts back, everything I have said is true, I just change identifying details...I will never confirm if I'm married, single, divorced, widowed. have kids, don't, where I currently work. But yes, everything I said about my office with Covid was true, 10 out of 23 people had it, management does not believe in science and did not follow any safety protocols. I only posted a little bit of what went on there...you wouldn't believe me if I told you every crazy thing....my mom didn't believe all the crazy sh@t I would tell her.
I just realized who you are...the antivaxxer , no science believer! You would fit right in at that place!

I won't confirm or deny obviously, but there are some people that actually try to raise their kids as functioning adults. No worries. When people use the term “antivaxer” as a derogatory and belittling term, I’ve learned not to give power to that label or the person saying it. People like u who use terms like those to degrade and put people down, are nothing but ignorant. I bet that if u dedicate a fraction of time to get to know someone like me, u’d know that it’s because of actual science that I have the mentality that I have regarding vaccines, literally. U’ll most likely not gonna find an “antivaxer” who was not a provaxer before. So before u talk down on someone like me, maybe ask that person questions about why they believe the way they do and if u still don’t agree with that person’s mindset (which it’s totally fine and acceptable), learn to tolerate others with different beliefs than u and learn to move on. After all, aren’t we all about inclusiveness nowadays?
Regarding to ur posts, I now find it hard to believe anything that u’ve said considering u just openly admitted that u like to mix trues and lies. But this is the internet afteall so people making up things is not surprising.

There was once a scientific consensus that smoking was good for you. Not just benign… but a healthy life choice.
Science once told us it would be a good idea to spray DDT directly on the skin of people - including children. Science told us Vioxx (a drug for arthritis) was safe, and it ended up causing 140,000 heart attacks and killing about 50,000 people.
Why do I bring up these instances? To show that, unless science is your religion, science is not meant to be a belief system.
Science is meant to be a process. The minute you “believe” in science is the minute you give away your critical thinking skills because a study tells you how to think. True scientists do not “believe” in scientific results so much as they believe in the process. They have the understanding that science is always changing. We will never “arrive” to a place and time where we know all there is to know. As a science major in college I learned that doing science often leaves us with more questions than answers.
Science is meant to be questioned, not blindly believed in. In the words of Richard Feynman, “I’d rather have questions that can’t be answered than answers that can’t be questioned.”
The final issue I have with this statement is that most science has been bought by our capitalistic and reductionist culture. We only study the things that can make us money and only those with money can fund the science that they “believe” in. We study what a drug or supplement does to one part of our body without looking at how it affects the whole person long term.
An example of this would be how there is a lack of science on the physiological, normal birth process because midwives don’t have the money to fund it. But when you’re trying to sell pitocin, fetal monitors and epidurals to hospitals, suddenly there’s a lot of science to be done. There isn’t much research being done on the effects of a solid community surrounding a newly postpartum mother, but there's endless research on the drugs we can give for postpartum depression. “Science is too delicate for market forces to govern. It turns scientists into salesman” - Bret Weinstein.
Science is a tool that helps us understand the world. Science is not a religion. Science is not a weapon to use against people who don’t agree with you.
If you read an article that cites a study, tells you how to think, and then asks no questions, take it with a grain of salt. If it seems to have everything about this subject figured out, move on. Filter any scientific result through your own personal devil's advocate. What does your gut tell you intuitively? How does it compare to the biological norm? These imaginary cliques that some of you think exist is funny.  There are no "crews" or cliques, most everyone on here doesn't know each other from a hole in the wall. Everyone needs to stop the drama, some of you take this site way too seriously. Most of us are here to kill time and bull$hit, who really cares what anyone thinks of each other. This isn't real life.
But should you feel so nauseated that you're inclined to puke, maybe stay off the boards that give you grief.

Yes, I’m done with this specific board but couldn’t help because for some reason she can’t keep me out of her posts. Look at the last comments before this was resurrected.
It’s clear she was referring to me as being obnoxious etc because voila I posted for the first time in a while and then that dumb ass comment. I’m sure it annoy them that I can actually share firsthand experience about Covid that isn’t doom and gloom.

I know me too! But when I said I was happy to have had it and gotten it overwith she told me how pretty much everyone in her office had it twice already. Something strange is going on in that office full of non science believing covid lovers.

Just like I am assuming my crew is “Lululu, VB, soontobemommy etc” because we agree about Covid. And even though VB and I couldn’t be any further apart in terms of politics, I can still see why someone would say that.

When I'm not on LIF, I don't think about LIF. I don't lose sleep over who doesn't like me on the board or a disagreement I had with VB or whoever. Most times I can't even keep specific details straight about posters to even get that bothered by them or hold a grudge. Seriously, who cares. It's not worth taking anything to heart, none of what happens on these boards actually matter.

First off I don’t care and as you can see I’m always joking. So I’m the last person that is taking any of this serious. I don’t care what people in the real world think of me, I can guarantee you that I 100% don’t give 2 shits what strangers on the inter webs think of me.
And I’m not even the one that brought up the term crew first and implied there is even a Clique. It was the poster who I quoted who insinuated a “crew” was being obnoxious. The term did not start with me.
