Playtex Drop Ins Fast Flow - When to switch?

What age did you switch to fast flow nipples? Slow flow age range is 0 - 3+ and fast flow is 3 - 6+. DS is four months and I'm going to try fast flow, but I was wondering what other's experiences were.

Thanks!

Re: Playtex Drop Ins Fast Flow - When to switch?

DD is 4 months and I am still on 0-3 months nipples.

I use Fast flow for formula and cereal.

For her is seems too quick and she gags.

I switched about 4 months, but it took him a little while to adjust. Maybe a week or so.

I switched to fast when he was 4 wks old and it was taking him an hour to finish a bottle, plus he was hitting the bottle and screaming out of frustration!!!

I switched at about 4 months. I started to notice she was getting really fussy when I was feeding her and it was because the formula wasn't coming out fast enough for her. After I switched to the fast flow's, the fussiness was gone.

We only used the slow flow for 1 day b/c he was sucking so hard that he gave his lips a blister...!!!!!!! We went right to the fast flow and things have been fine since then..(DS is 1 week old)
