Pedialyte??
DS has what I think is a cold his symptons are a slight fever and not much appetite. So I was thinking of stocking up on pedialyte incase I suspect he is gettign dehydrated. I have never used pedialyte , So my questions are:
What are the signs of Dehydration?
What type or flavor do I buy?
How much shoudl I give him?

When DD was sick her dr. told us to look for very few wet diapers or no tear production. The flavor doesnt really matter and my dr. told me to offer the full 8ozto DD throughout the day. I ended up getting her the Gerber liqalytes (sp?)

Also... put your finger in his mouth and see how the moisture level is in his mouth.
When K had her stomach virus, the ped told me that I could give her as much pedialyte as she wanted to drink!
Kristina likes the orange one.... the purple one is too sweet IMO. And honestly, I buy the Walmart brand..... SAME EXACT STUFF!
