The whole point of social distancing and everyone not working or going to school is to keep the people of our parent's age safe. If they are not abiding by the stay at home rule than why is anyone. If your MIL shows up I wouldn't open the door for her. Too bad. I say the same to my parents who wanted to come for my daughter's birthday on Saturday. Stay home and lets all get back to normal soon!

We still see my mom. She says that this is not how she is living her last years on earth without seeing her grandchild. So she refuses to stay away

Parents and In-laws
My sister visited my parents today. They sat on lawn chairs in the driveway while they kids played with chalk. Everyone kept their distance. Seemed to work well and improved everyone’s mood.
