What I have learned is that everyone is quick to judge without being in the situation. I'm sure there would be less flames if the flamer was the one rocking the child 24/7 literally - that situation isn't good for you OR DC. I think you did what was right for you and DS!

no flames here. I think you need to know your particular child. There have been times when I've let my kids cry for almost an hour to get to sleep and then other times you know it's something else and don't. Good for you, hope you're getting some sound sleep.
