OMG a Tractor-trailer Just Plowed Through a Building at my Job!!!!
I am completely beside myself. About an hour ago we got a message saying a tractor-trailer drove through the front of one of the office buildings on my company's property. Thankfully none of my coworkers were hurt but apparently the truck driver was unconscious.
Apparently, one of the guys in IT saw it careening towards the building and started running around screaming for everyone to get out. The payroll woman's office was completely destroyed along with some conference rooms and the lobby. Thankfully everyone (but the truck driver) got out unharmed. I cannot believe this happened!!
I swear I get chills thinking about it.

Seriously! The woman whose office was destoyed just happened to be in the bathroom at that time.
Thank god she was not in her office!!!

No one's sure as to what caused this. The driver was unconcious but did have a faint pulse. One of the guys I work with started performing CPR on him but wasn't able to revive him last I heard.

It happened somewhere between 9:10-9:30. I found out around 9:35 and had last spoken to someone in that building around 9:10.
Thankfully everyone I work with was ok, but they don't think the truck driver made it.

Yeah, it's pretty sad. They think he had a heart attack or something. They were even using the defribulator on him.
