Definitely depends on where you order from, and what brand. Behr's told us 12+ weeks, and it was in before 6 weeks was up. They held it until we wanted it delivered though.

Mine is Thursday too! I hope we can find out what we're having. We tried already at a 3D sono place but our LO wasnt in the right position to see and wouldn't budge for anything! I'm hoping he or she isn't so shy on Thursday since it will most likely be my last ultrasound.
For all the ladies havIng their scans in he next few weeks, have fun!

I heard that eating chocolate before a sono might help get them moving. Worth a shot! Lol

Behr's is a little more expensive bc its an 'actual' furniture store but really it depends on the set you pick. There's price ranges at both stores.
In response to your other post about the chocolate, mine apparantly responds to yogart!!! Lol

I had my anatomy scan today and we found out we're having a girl! The tech said she looks like she's developing perfectly so we couldn't be happier! She was moving aroun so much during the scan too which was nice to see since she was sleeping during my last two scans. The tech kept commenting on how active she was and joked about how she was chasing the baby around in the womb with he scanner to try to measure her!

Had my quad screen today...they only took a vial of blood and listened to the hear beat...i love love love that sound...anyway i started this pregancy on the heavier side to begin with and the doctor said i've gained 5lbs...i thought it was much more...but she did say that was something i;m gonna have to work on because she dosnt want me gain too much....so onto salads i go...lol

I ate a banana and had two sips of DH's coffee on the drive to my sono and the baby was moving around so much. But then by the end of the sono she calmed down and curled up to rest so I guess her little sugar high wore off. So try eating something sweet like 15 or 20 minutes before hand so it doesn't wear off before you go in for the sono.

congrats on finding out your having a girl!!!! And thanks for the tips on what to eat before the sono since our 12 week ultrasound LO didn't move at all until I emptied my bladder! I'll definitely have some chocolate just before my next appointment!

I want to be team green, but DH wants to find out . . . I want to know as well, but considering this is probably my last baby (this is DC#2), I kind of want that surprise.

So I think DH and I are done with our registry! It actually wasn't too difficult thanks to the Baby Bargains book. And DH also got the consumer reports for baby products app on his phone which also helped. We pretty much just registered for whatever items got the best reviews and safety ratings and that helped to simplify our options since there is sooooo much to choose from with certain items like carseats; strollers, etc. We ended up making two trips to BRU and added some items online. My showers isn't until August so of course we may have to change some items if they go out of stock, but it feels good to pretty much have it done!

That must be such a huge relief/weight lifted. I cannot wait to do mine... i have been waiting until after our 20 week scan to find out team we're on. Ive made a trip to BRU & BBB and researched baby bargains so im pretty set on the bigger items which will be gender neutral. Its all the 'little stuff ' that overwhelms me!
