We are taking a babymoon! We leave June 23rd and come back July 3rd. Doing San Diego for a week and then Vegas for 3 nights 
My shower is early because my brother is getting married in Sept and Im the MOH. So I have a ton of stuff to do in August. My shower will be July 21st.
Wow!!! You are going to have one busy summer!!! And that sounds like a great babymoon!! I've always wanted to visit California!! I've been to Vegas once, saw the Cirque du Soleil Beatles show, Love, it was amazing!! I recommend if you have time to see it! (I'm a huge Beatles fan, but my bff is not a huge fan and she loved the show just as much!).

So I decided to switch OB's because I wasn't happy with the practice I was going to, and I had my first appointment with Dr. San Roman today. I'm so happy I switched to him, he's great!!! Thanks, MrsKelly for recommending him! 
The first thing he did was notice that my original doctor didn't calculated my due date correctly  So all this time that I thought I was due Oct. 8th, according to my new doctor my due date is actually Oct. 13th. I'm so happy he caught that! Otherwise the 8th might have came and went and I would have thought I was overdue, and the practice I used to go to would have probably wanted to induce me.
So, MammaPajama, can you change my due date to the 13th? Thanks!!! DH is so excited because that's his birthday too and ever since I got pregnant he kept saying it would be cool if the baby came on his birthday, so now he has a much better chance!
And, after my appointment DH and I went to BRU to start our registry. It was exhausting but fun. We still have a long way to go to finish it, but at least we got started!

You guys are too kind!! Maybe b/c it was in the morning that I looked smaller than I feel, I'm looking at myself tonight and I feel like I look SO much bigger than that picture!

it's a pretty awful picture, but here's my bump at 18 and a half weeks ...
i actually feel like i look bigger in that picture than i do in reality ... maybe it's because the pic was taken after dinner

you look adorable!! And I definitely think it makes a difference if the pic is taken in the morning or at night! I am always bigger at night after eating all day

Is anyone not feeling kicks yet? I know my baby is in there kicking, I saw it in last weeks sonogram but I haven't felt anything yet. I'm 19 weeks but baby is measuring a week ahead so I really think I should be feeling something by now.
Im 16.4 wks and haven't felt a thing i used a doppler though, everything sounds a.o.k. in there... but i wanna feel it!!!

Sounds like so much fun!
We're going up to NY to bring DD to her first Mets game and to visit some family before #2 joins us and makes the trip too difficult for a while (I live OOS 10 hours drive now). We're actually coming up the weekend before your trip, so I'll be 21 weeks. Not exactly a "babymoon" but it'll be fun.  We do plan to go out to the beach for a week with friends later on in the summer.
Actually, I'm not sure it counts as a babymoon at all if you already have a baby... lol. When I was pregnant with DD, we went to Asheville, NC for a long weekend and it was such a wonderful trip (it was also our anniversary)! I remember being in the pool at the hotel and just loving the feeling of weightlessness after carrying that belly around for so long lol.
I've never been to Nashville -- have an amazing time!!

IM SOOOOO JEALOUS you are going to the country music festival!!!!! You'll have a blast - my DH and I always wanted to go but I teach and prob never will be able to
The Stage and Tooties are the best - right on broadway.. Dont know how much time you'll have. Im sure you'll be at concerts and hanging outside... HAVE FUN - please report back!!!!!

thats so exciting you already ordered furniture.....i keep looking at things butim so far off from doing that yet...i need to get my husbands buttin gear to finish the basement so i clean out the room for the baby...not sure what hes waiting for only got 5 months till arrival...lol

I agree I'm so far away from ordering furniture, it makes me nervous!! We still have our dormer extension ahead of us, which will include ripping off the entire 2nd floor of our house and getting it reframed.....and DH & his family will be finishing off the interior themselves, I'm secretly freaking out but trying not to let it show! (I'd like DH to think I have faith in him that it will all get done before LO is here!  Hopefully we'll have a ROOM done to put nursery furniture in by October!

it really depends on where you order from. Buy Buy Baby is slow and usually takes 2-3 months, if i remember correctly. Other places are a few weeks.
We're hoping to get the crib from BIL though he's not even sure if he still has the crib! How do you not know if you have a crib in your house?  whatever, i guess.

Def depends where youre going. I think bru keeps a lot in stock so it can only take a few days. Behrs tells u 6-12 weeks but ive heard of it taking up to 14. Thats where we ordered from so i didnt want to chance it. They will hold it until youre ready if it comes in early.
