I'm kind of shocked by the responses here. Why would anyone believe this misogynist who defended Donald Trump after the Access Hollywood tape came out by saying that's just how all guys are?
I don't see any glaring inconsistencies in her story. First she said it started at 16-17 and then explained he started grooming her at 14. Is that the alleged inconsistency? It's not an easy story to share. She has plenty of reasons not to share it since he's the star of the show where she probably still makes some revenue from syndication. He's also very vocal and has no problem bullying people, especially women. I think she is very brave to come forward, because it couldn't have been easy, and it won't be easy if any legal action is taken.
Exactly this. I agree with this word for word.
I think the opposite side is thinking about how they were at 15-16. I don’t think the fact that they were childhood stars is added into the equation, sadly.
Coming forward can’t be easy after so many years. It was held in her head for so long, and she probably tried to rationalize it. I really don’t think people would lie about something like this.

She was saying on The Talk today that she finally went to police because he asked her to do it. He said instead of going to social media with the story. Why didn't she go to police? So she did. She also said 10 people from the set stepped up and filed statements.
It was a very good interview if anyone is interested in hearing what she had to say.
10 people? So based on the makeup of the cast, and including the entire crew, I’m assuming that a majority of these people were adults. Adults who witnessed this and kept their mouths shut for 30 YEARS?
I can’t decide if it’s good they came forward, or if they’re just as guilty for turning a blind eye.
Anyone who puts their child in show business is insane.

He's a sandy hook denier so yeah i believe her.
He's pretty vile and I would have a hard time believing him. That being said, I don't believe or not believe her at this point. But I don't think she should be automatically dismissed. I wouldn't be surprised if he was guilty.

I hate to say it, but it's the industry. I think they want to keep their jobs at the time and just pretended not to notice. Maybe it was the time too. Who knows?! The show was named after him so all these people were relying and getting paychecks off his name. Not that it's an excuse for them at all.
I do believe her. I remember watching some reality show on him years ago and he seemed like an egotistical douche. His support for Trump and denying Sandy Hook and his tweet. He's disgusting.
On the other hand... it is sad how much stuff happened and was "brushed under the rug." Especially in the 80's all the crazy stories coming out. Maybe that's why she was close with the Coreys bc they shared a common bond.
I have seen similar stuff in the workplace. Especially sales where the men travel a lot. All the flirting and crossing the line with women while their wives are at home. NEVER underage, but definitely not workplace talk
