Never taking a pacifier?
My boys loved their binkys, but as they got older they kinda weaned themselves from it and then DH took it away one random night at 16 months old.
Frankie WILL NOT take it at all....I just stopped trying this week because it's useless. To me it's weird because the other boys were such "binky babies" and I had it with me wherever I went. Frankie doesn't even like to be swaddled, he is such an easy baby....I guess I am just looking to see if anyone else had a baby that never took a binky because it's weird to me!

As you know Sadie didn't take one until she was over a month old and I had to force it on her cause all she did was cry LOL.
Even then, she never really had it other than for sleeping purposes. She was never a kid that wanted to like hang out and play with the binky in her mouth etc.

neither of mine took to it for very long. once they figured no milk was coming out of it, they were done.

DS never took one, no matter how much I tried, I really really wanted him to, for too many reasons I believe to be e.g. better than using his hands, using my boobs, etc etc..
As soon as he started teething at 3m, he came back from a walk with mil, with one in his mouth, she said he automatically took it and chewed on it. Still does. Now he even uses it to go to sleep.
I don't mind, kids I know who used the nuk-like pacis as kids have great teeth.

Kieran took it in the very beginning, but really only when he was tired. After maybe 3 months or so, he has no interest in it anymore. He found his fingers instead  He seems to like the pacifier, but not for sucking/soothing- he'll just chew on it and play with it.

DS never took one....now occassionally if he is extremely over tired, I try to "force" it upon him. Usually he sucks on it for a minute or two and gets ticked off and throws it...

Ashley never really took to it. We would only use it at night as she got older (a few months old), it helped her once the bottle was finished. She never cried if it fell out of her mouth and by 9 months she was completely done with it, even at night.

DS1 never took a pacifier and hated being swaddled.
DS2 was addicted to the pacifier and needed to be swaddled. Both areover now but it was so different than with his brother.

I didn't introduce a paci until DS was about 3 months old. And by then he wanted no part of it so I just stopped offering it.

DD never took to the pacifiier. I tried a few times when she was a baby and she never took to it.
Quite honestly, I never pushed the paci . I hate them, so I was thrilled when she didnt want them.
She was never a swaddler either.

Timmy would not take one as an infant I forced it on him like a maniac. One day when he was 3 months he took it I was so excited but 2 weeks later poof like magic he didn't want it again. Timmy has NEVER taken one since. My next kid WILL take a binky

I've tried countless times and DS will NOT take the binky. Tried so many different kinds and he doesn't like any of them. I really wish he would to soothe himself but he doesn't!

My DD is not a fan. I tried 6 different kinds (mostly just for car rides b/c she gets FRANTIC in the car). I recently bought the newborn paci (the big ugly blue one) and she has taken it a few times but she really doesn't like it. One less habit to break I guess. She does suck her hand a lot though. lol.

DS1 never took one. I tried and tried because he would use me as a paci 
DS2 on the pther hand (who I nursed until 15 months  ) is ATTACHED to his. I am not looking forward to weaning him of it

DS kind of used one for the first week or so... that's it! He gummed his hands when he "found" them, but never really sucked his thumb. I guess some kids sooth themselves in other ways.

Peanut took his for naps and to go to sleep at night... but even then he wasn't too interrested in it. At 3 months I just totally took it away. At almost 6 months now, he's totally fine without it.
