Need help i want to Kill my dog She is so bad
Today me and dh went to bjs to go shopping. We come back and there is Dihereea all over the place. I don't care about that. WHat i care about is she chewed the window self were the window sits and the wood comes out a bit to place stuff or as a decor.
IT is so badly chewed up i really want to kill her. It is not like we are in a house we are in a apartment complex. So now we have to fix that before we leave next july. I hate looking at it cause it look like crap. I yelled at her so bad.
I but her in the kitchen locked up and told her she is a bad girl and she is staying in there tonight till tomorrow moring.
I told my dh now she is going to stay in the kitchen everything we leave. I can't trust her anymore. I don't understand why she is doing this now. We let her stay out the hole time we are out she didn't nothing wrong at all.
I don't know what to do how can i stop her from this.
I added pics to show you what she did.
I mean i know she is still a puppy but she has not done stuff like this in like 3 months.

SHe is 10 months old. Yeah she has so many toys in a bin and she take them out to play with them.
Omg she get played with all the time. Me and dh ruff house with her to playing wise. Or we will be throwing her ball to her.

To be honest, I think she is still too young to have free roam. How long have you had her? How often does she get free roam of the place? How long were you guys out? She might be upset if you were out too long.

I would recommend crating her. Our dog is almost a year old and she's still crated when we are going to be gone for more than an hour.

We have had her for 4 months. She roams the place i don't work so she is roaming all day. We were out for like 1 hour. Yeah i know that but why does she have to chew my window ledge lol.
But i think i might be putting her in the kitchen when we leave cause i can't keep on having this. Thanks

I would recommend crating her. Our dog is almost a year old and she's still crated when we are going to be gone for more than an hour.
Yeah i might be doing that now when we go out.
She won't come near me at all.

get the Lemon spray stuff at PetCo! it works miracals and is non-toxic. i think that is a good place to start....also it might be time for Nanny 911!!

When we go out, we leave the dogs in the kitchen with their chew toys, water, and beds. We have baby gates up so they cannot get out. I think you may want to consider doing something like that -- puppies chew and can get themselves into trouble if they have too much space.

She is probably still too young to be roaming loose. We crated Misty until last month and she will be two in September. We started out with 15 minutes and worked our way up. She destroyed our coffee table on one of the test runs, so we had waited another six months and now she is great - eight/ten hours with no problem!

Have you taken her to the vet to make sure that the diarrhea is not from damage done by chewing the ledge? Small sharp object can perforate or puncture vital organs. Please for her safety & your sanity try crating her.

I feel your pain. Katie is 9 months and loves to chew our molding. We give her things to chew like hooves and that helps. Try spraying the area with biter apple. What breed is she?

Please call your vet....
We had a scare with Rocky when he was a pup and ate a shoe heel...
He did diarhea every 15 minites with blood...They had to keep him overnight and do a barium on him....
Expensive but if not done he could have had a piece in him that could have cut his organs

I ditto calling the vet as well...although she was probably just sooo upset and that's what caused the diarrehea....
Crate her....she's 10 months now and entering her"teen years"...I would go out and buy a crate TODAY if I were you. She'll like it...they want to feel safe, and stable.

Murphy went through the same exact thing at that age! He never chewed up anything at all (except his toys) and then at 10 months, he chewed the molding off the wall and a hole through the wall. We crated him when we werent home and then we started giving him chances after another month or so and he never did it again. I read it has something to do with their adult teeth settling into the gums and jaws.
ETA: I found this online:
Dogs go through two chewing phases. The first is between 4-6 months when the puppies begin to loose their puppy teeth. Puppies like to chew on soft items, like carpet, rugs, rags or soft toys, squeaky toys and rope toys. Then they may stop for a while until the second phase, which occurs between 10-12 months when the adult teeth settle into the growing skull of the dog. During this phase, dogs like to chew on more dense objects, like wood, furniture, plastic, rawhide, hard rubber toys, and Nylabones.

I feel your pain. My dog was about this same age when he chewed on a brand new portable bar DH and I bought. We crated him again for a short while, and now he is 1 1/2, and fine in the house. I know its upsetting, but you have to remember they are animals, and incidents here and there will happen. Sometimes I wonder how great my house could be if I had no animals, but then again, I couldn't live without my munchkins, LOL
Double edged sword for sure.

we do the same thing.
they are 2 but they sometimes make mistakes on the carpet (pee)- so they have to stay in the kitchen.

Update she is doing good so when we go out she is put in the cage. She has not doing anything since then.
I feel so bad that i have to put her in the cage.
