How fast (or slow) does your dog eat?
I swear, Bama inhales his food faster than any dog I've ever seen. I haven't timed him yet, but he's done eating in probably about 30 seconds (and then he licks the bowl for about 2 more minutes  ).
I always have to watch him when he eats though, because sometimes he chokes and I have to give him the Heimlich

Same with Max - he inhales!!!! It's RIDICULOUS!
Bailey does too but is a little slower and is big on "rinsing" the bowl with water and going back & forth!!
Hershey always ate sloooooooooooow, would walk away, wander around and the boys would be looking into the kitchen dying to get a crack at her bowl!!!

I have two dogs and they are pickers and very dainty at eating. They will just pick kibbles out of the bowl and snack. I put food out in the morning and it's there all day. The big one likes to lay down while she eats.
They crack me up because both with take a mouthful of kibble and bring it to the living room so they can nibble and watch TV.

My dog inhales his food also. Nakita used to eat so slowly and she had these cute quirks about eating. Once and a while Bear would try to steal her food. Bear is never full.

My little dog loves the Frontline commerical where the two dogs are playing tug-o-war... He always lifts his head up and watches the whole thing. I think he has a crush on the pug.

They've been off the beans for a while!!! And actually Max never really got them because well, you know, he's got enough BIG JOBS ...

I actually noticed the other day that Max is actually CHEWING more since we put him on a new food - I actually hear him crunching now! But it's still gone way quicker than is probably good for his acid reflux!!

It depends how hungry she is, in the morning she just picks at it, but in the afternoon, she inhales it, then she burps for the next hour, its gross!!

Barni (R.I.P.) used to absolutely INHALE her food! She used to sctarch my legs when I was filling up her food dish and then would start to nose into it even before the dish hit the floor! I would say she was done within 30 seconds.
Elroy, on the other hand, takes his sweet time. His food from the morning feeding can sit there until it's time for his dinner! He will eat it if we tell him to, but if we don't tell him to eat, he usually won't.

When I walk in the door after work, Bama is so hungry that he'll launch himself at me, almost knocking me over, then he'll sprint to his food bowl and stand there whining and drooling
I don't let him eat though until I give him the signal; otherwise he'll knock the food out of my hand before I get it in the bowl!

Its strange ...When we first got boogie he would eat SO quickly. This lasted a while...it seems like when he turned 1 (about 2 months ago) he lets his food linger. We feed him breakfast and mid afternoon he still has some left and he nibbles at it all morning...

My doggy does the same exact thing!!! So our trainer told us to only leave the food bowl down for 15 minutes to make her pick up the pace and regulate potty breaks.

my dog Jessi inhales her food!!! seriously 30 seconds its gone...and treats....same thing, she loves those dingos! my god, i swear she swallows them whole!

my dogs are pretty funny when it comes to eating.
lukin eats first then its between the girls. the battle is on. dharma will let tink eat first though . they wait in lione, its quite funny

If we mix in some table food or wet food Roxy inhales it. I mean she is done what seems to be like 30 seconds but if it just dry food she picks at it.
