moved to day 5 transfer Edited w/question
Edited to add. Do I need to take the full day off work for the transfer?
well it looks like our little embryos are growing really well and they want to wait til day 5 for transfer. So monday is the big day and then the waiting begins. april 6th is our test date.

Well, either way if he wants to do 1 I'm sure it's one of a really good quality! I am hoping this is it for you!!! It's amazing how so many of us on the board are in basically the same place in our IVF cycles!

So happy for you!! I would take off the full day. Go home relax and just think about them implanting and getting a BFP!!

I was going to say this!!!!! My clinic makes you take the day of ET off and the next day. That's awesome that you get a beta that quick. I have to wait until 13dp5dt! I feel like I am climbing the walls. Good Luck!!!

I think most people take the day of transfer off at least. I did as well as the day after for my 1st IVF and two days after transfer for my 2nd IVF although my Dr. was fine with going to work the next day, but even he said that I needed to rest the day of.
Just curous...why does your doctor only want to put one back in? Is it because you are young?

I think it's a great sign that they are waiting till day 5. And, yes, take the full day off and relax as much as you can after your transfer.

5dt is def a good sign. i would transfer two if you can. i would also take at least the full day off and if you can the day after. i took the day of and the next 2 days but mostly cause i was still hurting from the ER and a touch of OHSS. good luck!!

I think my re is very conservative when it comes to how many to put back. She says her goal is to have a singleton pregnancy and wants to avoid the risks of twin pregnancy. Also because we are only dealing with mf issue she thinks one should work.
