Moms of infants...do you find yourself going to the same stores for clothes?

Just wondering where you shop most of the time.

I can't seem to stay away from the Carter's section of any store. I feel like I need to get ideas of where else to go!! Baby Gap isn't doing it for me lately...neither is Old Navy or Children's Place...

Just curious!

I live in Century21 for her clothing, I find that they have a nice selection of different brands and the prices are great!

I'm boring. I just buy Carter's bc I know the sizing is consistent.

Landon's not an infant anymore, but I used to buy most of his stuff from Target, Kohls, and The Childrens Place. (And I still do). I LOVE TARGET CLOTHES!

We buy a lot at Target. Abby is a day care kid. Her clothes get worn out and dirty. Im not spending a lot of money on clothing when they are going to get destroyed and she will be growing out of them in a matter of weeks.

As my dear departed mother would say:

"Why spend a lot of money on clothes she is just going to pish in anyway?"Chat Icon

I buy at Old Navy and Carter's Outlet. I find the ON stuff is very cute, but run smaller compared to Carter's. I would say 90% of her clothes are Carter's and I don't mind. They're cute and at the outlet a freakin stealChat Icon

My Baby mostly has clothes from the Gap, Gymboree and Kohl's but for dressier outfits I love Macy's. They always have great deals and the clothes are adorable

Re: Moms of infants...do you find yourself going to the same stores for clothes?

My favorite store for DD is Gymboree because I feel like they fit her the best. She has a long torso and short legs (like her Mama) so 12-18 jeans/pants from most places are gigantic on her, but Gymboree stuff fits well. I feel that way about tops from Baby Gap. She can still wear some of her 6-12 month onesies from The Gap. I like Carters for basic onesies but I feel like their pants are so thin. I'm not a huge fan of The Children's Place, but I did just buy her Easter dress from there after I saw it posted on this board--I just got it in a different color. I have to learn to scale back on my spending with DD's clothes. Like Goldie said, She's just going to pish in them.

PS- If anyone knows where I can get BLACK clothes for DD, I would loves suggestions. I bought her the cutest hot pink and black polka dotted skirt for a party and I need a black onesie/t-shirt and cardigan to go with it.

Jc Penneys has a decent section on kids clothes. They also do very often like 7am-12pm sales, or alot of 30% off. A few weeks ago I got DS several outfits for less then $8 a outift

Did you try target for black clothing? I have for sure seen black onesies, cardigans there in the past.

My local Target sucks. It's the Target at Atlantic Center Mall in Brooklyn. There is no merchandise and all they care about are shoplifters. I should just take the drive to Erskine.

I cant stand carters clothes so I really have a hard time finding things I like.

I get A LOT at target.

Love childrens place for jeans, but hate the crazy busy patterns for shirts.

Old navy and gap run super small and she seems to grow out of stuff fast, but I get some cute things there.

Re: Moms of infants...do you find yourself going to the same stores for clothes?

I'm all about Carter's. I really like their stuff. It fits DS well and is comfortable for him which is what I mostly care about. BabyGap is good too but I haven't liked what they've had in a while (of course, before DS was born, I used to see stuff I loved all the time!)

DS is only 4 months so I'm new at this but I think what you are doing is fine.

im happy with the prices at marshalls.... yes you have to know your prices, and weed through ugly stuff at times, but i love how its not cookie cutter outfits....

for my cookie cutter stuff- i LOVE carters and childrens place. old navy is hit or miss for me.

I love Century 21 too! I'm upstate but when I'm down in LI, I'm sure to stock up--there's so many choices and the prices are great. I have to take my time when I'm there.
