LOST - MY CAT IS LOST - HELP ME - PORT JEFFERSON STATION
Definitely put up fliers with a picture of him, contact numbers, and a clear description of him, i.e. : Large male cat - white with black spots, half a tail
Too many people put up lost cat signs that do not give crucial ID info.
Leave some food and something that smells like his home outside.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers and suggestions. I know he is not in the house. We have a finished basement. Food hasnt been touched. Litterbox hasnt been touched. I know with certainty that he was in the house Wednesday evenning. My husband was out late gettng our taxes done and Miso was playing with a spider. Could he have slipped out when my husband came home? I dont know. I work Thursdays and Fridays so I was gone all day both of those days and cant recall if I saw him thursday morning. Could he have gotten out when I left for work? My husband picks up my son on thursdays so they were home when I got home. Could he have gotten out when they came in? When my husband went to get the mail? When I walked in with McDonalds? I dont think I remember seeing him thursday night. (he usually hangs around looking for food). I definetely didnt see him Friday, especially when I got home from work, which is why I started looking for him. My heart is so broken. I sent my husband and my son to Jersey for the weekend for his little cousin's birthday. I was supposed ot go too. i promised my son I would find Miso by the time he came back on Sunday. It doesnt look like that is going to happen. Not only am I missing my cat but I'm alone and missing my family making everything worse.... guess I need some more wine

I know someone who had a cat run free. She setup a camera in her yard, a trap and put food inside the trap. Also, blankets, pillows, stuff that smelled like home.
After 2 weeks she had overnight pictures of the cat milling around the trap area trying to get the food, and then eventually a few days later the cat figured out how to get in and was captured.

I take care of a feral cat colony in Port Jeff Station, I go there every day and feed them. I will look for him, they get canned food and dry food, so that may tempt him, all my cats in this colony are friendly and allow other cats to come into their territory. I will also tell the neighbors there to look out for him, they always come tell me gossip
