MY MOM LOST HER CAT(pic) UPDATE!
In the south massapequa area (near all american)
His name is Peanut..he responds to Peanut or Peenie
My mom is besides herself, we think he slipped out the sliding door.
He was once an outdoor cat my mom took in. He is declawed and defenseless right now 
He is very shy!
Let me know if you see him!
He is striped with a white belly and a white stripe on his head

So my mom was so upset for her cat that my brother thought it would be a good idea to get her a kitten. I told it was too coon but he said you dont see how sad mom is.
So we got Cashew (named after another nut in honor of Peanut)
A few days later my mom called me and Peanut was on the front porch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He wouldnt come in though he was VERY scared. He was missing for 10 days and so skinny! He was hiding out in the neighbors yard!!! He refused to come in or even let my mom pet him!!! WEIRD
SO he had been outside now since mothers day!!!! That is when she had lost him.
My mom calls me tonight and says Peanut is letting her pet him. She was able to grab him and now he is back home. SHe had him in the bathroom b/c he needs to keep away from Mittens and Cashew in case he got anything from outside. He is goign to the vet tomorrow
My brother said that het a cuts all over him and his ear was bit! Poor thing!!! I am so happy he is alive and home!!!
So now just pray he checks out all ok from the vet
UPDATE!!!!
He went to the vet and he checked out ok....he got a few shots and he is home safe and sound

Put pics up around the neighbourhood. My sister and mom live right by 711 on Merrick road and my sister is always looking out for cats in the area. I can't see any pics you have posted, sorry. If you did then I could post them.

I hope she comes back...

Thanks guys! I hope he makes his way home....PS he LOVES to hang out by GIGIs and all american that is where he used to go when he was an outdoor stray

I'm so sorry to hear this. It is a good idea to leave food outside. Also I think flyers help. Good luck.
