Middle name to go with Greek first name
Hi ladies. I can really use your help with this one. If we have a little girl, her first name will be Evangeline. It was my yia yia's (grandma) name and my middle name. Problem is, we are stuck on what her middle name should be. We really cannot come up with ANYTHING that we think really goes together! The name doesn't have to be Greek or anything, so any suggestions would be totally appreciated!! THANK YOU!

DD's name will be Kristina and her middle name will be Elena (after my maternal great grandmother).

Oh that is such a pretty name!!!
TO answer your questions - do I have any names I like - I guess that's our problem - all the names that we do like just don't go with Evangeline. I "kind of" like Evangeline Grace, my boyfriend "kind of" likes Evangeline Marie... just nothing really clicking for us that says "THAT'S THE ONE!"

Ok... next ? Are you going to be using her middle name a lot, or just going to have it on her birth certificate? I don't really plan on using the Elena portion of her name, but I will when she's in trouble... 
I ask because u would want something to flow nicer if you plan on using the 2 names in conjunction...

We probably won't be using the middle name that often but I still want it to flow nicely. And you are absolutely right about using it when she is being bad!!! LOL!

Hi Colleen. It is so funny that you mentioned Evangeline Lilly because we couldn't get that name out of our heads when we were trying to pick out names last night!!!
We will be pronouncing it "leen" at the end.
BTW - I am sorry I am not able to reply to your posts, I am not sure how I reply to a specific post so I just end up posting new ones I guess

VegasLisa, It would probably sound better if I keep it within the same ethnicity I would imagine - LOL!!!! BUt it really doesnt matter that much to me - just feel it may flow better if it's all Greek maybe? But not TOO Greek?? I probably sound like a freak now. I grew up with a 17 letter last name so I know what that feels like!

I'm greek.... Daddy's 10 letter last name proves it! Brian is anything but Greek (but he's just about everything else). He wanted to name DD Kristin, but I told him years ago that if we were ever blessed with children, that they would be baptized in the GO church, so they had to have saints names. He suggested Kristin, I told him I would compromise, and add an A on the end...
check that website tho..... there's a lot of options on there that would help you!

Evangeline Marie was the first thing that popped into my head!!!
BUT....after reading a few posts.....Evangeline Lily sounds BEAUTIFUL!!
